So many women feel this way!
It's physically painful to move away from a drawer which is chometz-free but a disgusting mess.
Let's hear from Rabbi Saberski:
"If you have plenty of time, you are relaxed and not under pressure, it's wonderful to do extras. And in fact, some of it - as you will hear in the workshop, is even a hiddur.
However, a very careful cheshbon has to be made. I've heard from people across the board: husbands, children and especially teenagers. So often, the extras mean that they grow up with negative memories of preparing for Pesach - the thing that we want to do our utmost to avoid!
Join us for the workshop, Be"H, and we'll explore the five zones, one of which is the "luxury zone" and how to handle it in the context of our Pesach cleaning priorities. You might even find that once everything is neatly categorized and prioritized, you have more time to do extras than you thought!"
